We're excited to announce a week of camp at GCDS this summer! For the past ten years, we've hosted day camps in the tri-state area, helping thousands of young athletes learn and compete. Our staff includes current college and high school coaches dedicated to providing a positive learning environment. All skill levels are welcome.

Campers should bring their own lunch or can order daily at check-in. All campers receive a camp t-shirt, jerseys, and gift bags.

Sessions will be led by Coach Matt Ward. Coach Ward has worked in education and athletics for over 15 years. He is currently the Assistant Athletic Director at Greenwich Country Day School, where he also teaches and is the Assistant Varsity Girls Basketball Coach.
Prior to arriving at GCDS, Coach Ward spent seven years St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT, where he worked in athletics, college counseling, and student life.
While at St. Luke's, Coach Ward served as the Head Varsity Girls Basketball Coach, where he saw tremendous success, winning six Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) Championships, and were selected to the NEPSAC Tournament all six years, winning one New England Championship in 2023. He compiled a 151-18 record during his tenure at St. Luke’s, winning NEPSAC Class B Coach of the Year awards in 2020 and 2023. Coach Ward also mentored a number of student-athletes who would move on to compete at the collegiate level in Division I, II, and III.

6th Boro Hoops summer skills factory training for boys is a comprehensive program designed to elevate players' skills across all facets of the game. Our focused approach encompasses rigorous drills and personalized coaching, targeting areas like shooting accuracy, ball handling proficiency, defensive strategies, and court awareness. We emphasize developing a strong foundation in fundamentals while also introducing advanced techniques, ensuring each player gains confidence and versatility on the court. Our goal is to cultivate well-rounded athletes who excel in both individual performance and team dynamics, fostering a passion for basketball that extends beyond the summer season.

Join us this summer at St. John the Baptist School in Yonkers for the best basketball experience around! This camp has sold out every summer, be sure to sign up before it is it too late!!
Our camp is geared towards players who are eager to learn some new skills and have a lot of fun. In our highly instructional and competitive environment, we make sure each player is challenged in a fun and positive setting.
Lunch is available for purchase at camp as well as beverages and other snacks. All campers receive a camp gift bag!
